Reputation of the MMA’s Neurosurgeons Acknowledged in the World

Belgrade, March 21, 2011. – The head of the MMA’s Neurosurgery Clinic, Col. Prof. Dr. Zoran Roganović was elected to the Peripheral Nerve Surgery Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies – WFNS. The Inaugural event will take place at the WFNS meeting scheduled for September 13, 2011, in Brazil
On that occasion, Prof. Dr. Zoran Roganović will deliver an introductory lecture dealing with ‘’Pain syndromes after brachial plexus injury’’, and take part as well in the promotion of the book on Peripheral Nerve Surgery, published by World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies, and coauthored by outstanding experts from the Military Medical Academy and the Serbian Clinical Center, Col. Prof. Dr. Zoran Roganović, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Samardžić and Assist. Prof. Dr. Lukas Rasulić.

This great recognition is the result of an enormous experience and valuable achievements of the Neurosurgery Clinic in this field. They include over 2700 surgically treated war injuries to the peripheral nerves, numerous papers published in world’s leading neurosurgical journals, and a great number of invited lectures given at world’s centers, including a Plenary Lecture delivered at the World Congress of Neurosurgery held in Boston, in 2009.
